It was such an honor to design, plan, and coordinate for Claire and Blake’s beautiful Spring wedding. Claire immediately hired LLC Events after her proposal with a full understanding of the benefits of working with a wedding planner. As a veterinarian student at UGA (completing rotations), she was limited on time to do wedding tasks herself and trusted us to bring her visions to life for her.
Claire is a very easy-going bride with traditional taste, an appreciation for timeless designs and an enthusiasm for fun flair and surprise. We loved her modern choice in jumpsuits for her bridesmaids instead of dresses — making sure they could party down on the dance floor! And the addition of an audio guestbook was a fun way to cherish voice messages that guests left for the couple that evening.
For two years (yes, you read that right) we dreamed and schemed on how to incorporate Claire’s and her mother’s love for blue and white pottery and chinoiserie china into her wedding design. This was fun for us to pull together, as we too have a fondness for our blue and white ginger jars and chinoiserie tableware. The ceremony aisle lined with blue and white garden stools was a total dream!! Most of the centerpieces incorporated vases and pottery from the bride’s mother’s personal collection.
Claire and Blake’s friends have such a good time with them, and that was easy to see as they enjoyed a late night quesadilla bar and danced the night away with tambourines, glow sticks, and surprise celebrity guest–Hairy Dawg!
