Do you hear it? It’s the sound of the holiday train in the distance headed our way at top speed. It’ll be here soon and we’ll all be greeting one another by saying “I can’t believe it’s Christmas already!” (Truth be told, I’ve said that to myself about it being October three times already).
The holiday season is monumental for traditions, celebrations and socializing. It’s traditionally quite popular for weddings too. Bree is a family friend whom I’ve known for many years, and when she reached out about planning a New Year’s Day wedding, I knew it would be full of fun and glamour.
I loved the personalization of attire on the wedding invitation, which read: New Year’s Best, Formal Attire. This successfully set the tone for their wedding day, leaving guests with no questions. Tone: We are here to party!!
The wedding branding was top notch! Bree wove personalized details into every corner of the guest experience you can think of. From a disco ball on the save the date, to cocktail napkins with love quotes from their favorite tv shows, to figurines of their beloved dogs digging into their wedding cake, a groom’s cakes with Braves memorabilia that they used when watching the World Series victory, and a beautiful custom-designed wedding monogram providing continuity for all paper goods.
And the style! Wow! We loved the mixed bridesmaids gowns in midnight tones/textures and Bree’s incredible removable sleeves on her gown. After a romantic candlelit ceremony, guests were seated at tables dressed with beautiful slate blue linens and lush arrangements of rouge florals and fruit. And the mirror ball installation over the dance floor truly set the tone for a fab celebration to kick-off 2022.
As we near the holiday season and prepare for another year of incredible Winter weddings, we’ll be remembering this festive night with Bree and Ben. It was an honor to manage the incredible team of vendors they sourced and coordinate their wedding weekend for them.
