When our wedding trail takes us over to Newnan, Georgia, we always have big smiles on our faces! As history proves, we get the sweetest and most enjoyable couples and families to work with in this charming city. Mary Bryan and James came to us with hopes to have their wedding reception at the Newnan Country Club but knew the confines of the walls wouldn’t accommodate their growing guest list. The venue limitations nor the growing guest list were enough to intimidate us from making it work. We started working quickly on outdoor build-out options that would allow us to make the most of the beautiful grounds/landscaping, the incredible culinary staff at the club, and create a comprehensive wedding design that was clean, crisp, organic, and timeless. And despite the rain pouring off the sides of our beautiful sailcloth tent, this wedding was sealed as “unforgettable” with one heck of a night of fun dancing! Thank you Mary Bryan and James for choosing LLC Events as your designer and wedding planning partner for this wonderful day.
As the saying goes, it's good luck when it rains on your wedding day. And for this sweet couple, they deserve all the luck in the world!

When it came to planning your wedding, what was most important to you?
Most important to me was having a fun band all of my guests could enjoy. I wanted the colors, flowers, etc. all to be tasteful but simple. I wanted everyone to enjoy the atmosphere and leave thinking this was one of the best weddings they’d been to.
What did your planner do on the day of the wedding that you didn’t expect or know abut until the day was over?
We ended up having some heavy rain at our reception. We were outdoors under a tent. I needed to get to the club house at one point, and Laura Lyn was so sweet and let me use her rain boots. It was such a kind gesture. She also packed us up to-go boxes of food to eat after the reception which was amazing.
What are your three favorite memories, stories, or details from your wedding day?
1. Seeing James for the first time! We did a first look, and it was the best thing we did. It helped put both of us at ease before walking down the aisle.
2. Enjoying the band at the reception. Our band was amazing. It was a great time for me to interact with friends and family.
3. James and I had a private dinner before walking out to the reception. I really enjoyed looking out the window and seeing all of the people that were there for us. It meant a lot to see those friends and family out there waiting for us ready to celebrate our marriage.
If you could provide a tip to another couple planning their wedding, what would it be?
Having a wedding planner is a must! It takes all of the worry off of you. All you have to think about is getting married and enjoying yourself. Laura Lyn and team can take care of everything else so that you can enjoy your day stress free!
