They wanted an event that blended timeless elegance with the natural beauty of South Georgia’s landscape, and the result was nothing short of breathtaking. The highlight was a stunning sailcloth tent surrounded by expansive greenery and towering oak trees, capturing the charming essence of this Georgia estate and tent wedding.

The day began with their heartfelt ceremony at Porterfield Methodist Church in Albany, Georgia—a venue that exudes timeless southern charm. With its stunning stained glass backdrop and classic ambiance, Porterfield was the perfect place for Maggie and Mercer to exchange their vows.

An enchanting sailcloth tent reception under the oaks

Once Maggie and Mercer said their ‘I do’s,’ guests transitioned to a private hunting estate for a formal cocktail hour and reception. The space was adorned with a luxurious sailcloth tent, seamlessly blending with the surrounding landscape and oak tree canopy. The reception featured custom food stations, cozy lounge areas set off the dance floor and lush florals, creating an ambiance that felt both sophisticated and welcoming.
