Black Tie Seated Dinner Reception at Idle Hour Country Club

This New York couple decided to bring their wedding celebration back to the bride’s hometown and host their formal wedding and reception in Macon, Georgia. They said their “I do’s” at Vineville United Methodist Church (be sure to check out our previous blog post with their ceremony gallery) before leading their guests into a full night of dinner and dancing at Idle Hour Country Club. We loved being the full service wedding planner for this sweet, accomplished professional couple.

Some of Georgia’s best wedding vendors partnered up to create an unforgettable dinner setting at the historic Idle Hour Country Club. The personalized details found throughout the reception were inspired by their adorable dog, Bootsy (meet their signature drink, the Bootsy Collins) and their current home state, New York.

Coming up with a wedding reception layout for 220+ guests to enjoy a seated dinner came with its challenges, but logistically we mastered it through plenty of strategy between planning and the food and beverage team.
