Is it just us, or does 2024 feel like it’s flying by? This time of year bring us so much joy (and yet, we’re also in disbelief that it’s already November). There’s an energy around this time of year that we can’t describe. It’s that perfect blend of excitement, exhaustion (whew! wedding season), anticipation, and hope for renewal. With the onset of holidays, there are plenty of excuses for hosting and entertaining. We’re already making fun, festive plans! And with the end in sight for our ’24 wedding season, we’re also looking forward to that “rest and recharge” that the end of year and Winter affords to our team. Before the jump right into Christmas Carols and spiked hot cocoa, let’s recap this fabulous Quarter 3 we’ve had this year.
To no surprise, our schedules were busy with wedding travel and so many fabulous wedding destinations this Fall! We loved our time in Jekyll creating the dreamiest coastal weddings! Villa Ospo, a venue in Jekyll Island, has truly captured our hearts with it’s tuscan-inspired architecture, intimate courtyard and large terraced garden for outdoor weddings. Working at the Jekyll Island Club is always a pleasure!
We worked tirelessly with our full-service wedding planning couples to bring some incredible Fall wedding designs to life! Some highlights- Alex and Wyndham’s incredible tented reception with custom lounge areas at Merry Acres Inn in Albany, Georgia. We were honored to produce their rehearsal dinner, welcome party, and wedding day as their chosen Wedding Planner and Designer. We also celebrated Laura and H.T. with a chic and contemporary green and white wedding at Fall Line Station in Macon, Georgia.
Morgan joined our team over the Summer and is dominating her role as Associate Planner and Designer for our wedding planning couples. Morgan comes to us from the historic river city of Charleston with great experience in event rentals and customer service. We also welcomed Claire to our team as Production Assistant and Executive Assistant — and she is a joyful, bubbly asset behind the scenes!
And in other exciting news (a little after Q3 but we’re too excited not to share) – our planner, Courtney, just joined the treasured club of motherhood when welcoming twins into the world! We’re so excited for Courtney as she settles into this new season of life.
It’s part of our mission at LLC Events to continue to invest in partnerships with venues and vendors that will enhance our offerings to our couples. Between a busy planning schedule, we’ve continued to travel and build our network in destination wedding markets that we love. Back in September, Laura Lyn had the pleasure of attending a FAM event hosted by May River Manor, a dreamy Lowcountry boutique hotel and wedding venue in Bluffton, South Carolina. It was such a treat to be pampered and hosted just as they host their guests and receive the ultimate luxury stay experience. We also had many fun site visits for our 2025 wedding couples, including Oldfield Club in Okatie, South Carolina, the beautiful and historic Old Edwards Inn in Highlands, North Carolina and Big Eddy Club in Columbus, Georgia (just to name a few).
