Love is in the air! For our team at LLC Events, the onset of Spring brought a non-stop wedding calendar with some really fun, impressive weddings. So much so, that it’s taken me until midway through the 2nd quarter of the year to get our Q1 Review out! A full schedule and a full mind would be an understatement! I’m really thankful for a year that started with a slow(ish) January and February so we could focus intently on our Spring couples and work on recharging the business for our best year yet.
Our Team Retreat will forever go down as one of my favorite parts of Q1 this year. It was such a gift to me, as a business owner, to have all of the incredibly talented ladies that make up LLC Events as a whole in one place– to love on them, show my appreciation for them, and share our business/personal goals together. The world of remote working has changed the trajectory of the office environment forever (I don’t think it’s going away), and while it’s not all bad, there is SO MUCH value to being present and together in one place.
The ladies of We Do Photography helped us update our headshots to match the growing brand of LLC Events. (I’m thankful for their talents in making us look so good!) We had such a fun afternoon at our friend, Mary Pinson‘s studio laughing and celebrating what 2022 brought for our team.

MOST PROUD MOMENT THIS QUARTER:
I’m always excited to work at a new destination wedding location, and Lauren and Mac’s March wedding at Villa Ospo on Jekyll Island was everything our wedding planner dreams are made of! We’ll share more photos when we have them, but trust me when we say: a dreamy coastal venue plus professional vendor partners plus a visually creative bride is a certified recipe for ✨ magic ✨.
We’re still slowly but surely turning our new house into a home, and our focus in the new year has been our outdoor space. We’re addressing bringing the pool and patio area back to life before pool weather hits. I’ve loved spending more time outdoors with the warmer temps and creating play areas for the kids to claim as their own.
My husband got our oldest a set of bases and a whiffle ball set for our yard. One evening recently, the neighbor kids joined our kids to play. It didn’t take long for them to realize it’d be easier to hold a game with more players. Before I knew it, there were 9 kiddos in my front yard picking teams for their own dusk-lit sandlot game. And as I watched them out my dining room window, my heart almost exploded. For context, I didn’t grow up in a neighborhood, I never got to run between my friend’s houses, and this has always been my dream for my kids. God gives you a wink exactly when you need it, and He was letting me know we’re exactly where we need to be (and if I want to keep the kids in my yard, I better restock my supply of ice pops in the freezer to be ready at all times).

March Madness and 1923. Also sped through The Night Agent on netflix.
My sister in laws have created a fun and vibrant collection of table linens that I LOVED setting my Easter table with! Plus this turf table runner amidst some lovely pastel eggs, and I was just hoppity over our table. 🙂 I’m pumped to have these beautiful linens from Maggie Griffin At Home as a part of our rental inventory through the LLC Party Pantry. <- Go check it out!
